Racer Cassey is back on track
EVESHAM racing driver Cassey Watson completed her first official duties as a BTCC package competitor when she spent two days at the Croft circuit in North Yorkshire for last week's media launch days of the Ginetta Junior Championship.
The teenager, right, came away with her confidence boosted due to topping the time sheets on both days of testing.
"This was an important test as it was the first time that most of this year's competitors were on track together," Watson declared.
"To be quickest was terrific but credit has to go to my team, Tockwith Motorsport, who gave me a car that filled me with confidence."
She now heads off to Brands Hatch in Kent for this weekend's first two rounds.
