Evesham Jubilee Society
THE annual general meeting will be held at Hampton Workingmen's Club starting at 8pm on Tuesday, April 8.
All members are asked to attend and any tables of motion, which must have a proposer and seconder, must be received by the secretary, Phil Seedhouse, seven days before the meeting.
Members are also asked to return the society's cups and trophies to John Davis as soon as possible.
The fishery reopens on Tuesday, April 1.
Evesham and District Disabled AC
FIVE members met up on Easter Sunday at Pebworth where the weather stayed dry despite the cold wind.
The winner was Antony Icke with 14.14.0 made up of the heaviest fish - a carp of 6.14.0. He also won the bonus peg.
In second place was Jerry Akerman with 11.0.0, third was Mick Leeming (10.12.0) and fourth Bob Southall (6.12.0).
The next match is at Piddle Lakes, draw at 8am, fishing for five hours from 9.
