Thieves target 'isolated' building site
A GROUP of thieves are believed to have stolen hundreds of pounds worth of power tools from a building site.
The incident occurred in Cutsdean near Temple Guiting at some time between 4.10pm on Wednesday, March 26 and 8.15am on the following day (27) at an address where building contractors had been working.
Tools including grinders, saws, drills and generators were taken from a steel storage container on the site of the work where contractors are working on building a new property in the isolated' area.
Police believe that the unknown offenders drove a vehicle onto a field adjacent to the building site where the thefts took place. They then broke open a wooden gate, travelled over the field and a dry stone wall and went through another gate before reaching the site.
They then prized open a window and located the keys to the storage container and gained access to it before taking the equipment.
Anyone with information on this incident should contact Gloucestershire police on 0845 090 1234.
