Brittany takes top award
BRITTANY Teague has been named Sportsperson of 2007 by Bourton-on-the-Water Chamber of Commerce.
The 15-year-old sporting all-rounder is a member of Bourton Roadrunners and has represented the Cotswold School at District and County level.
She has also raced for Gloucestershire in cross-country events.
During the past 12 months, the teenager has made the move into road running and has set some impressive times over 5k and 10k distances.
Brittany is also a keen horsewoman, plays hockey and netball and has also achieved her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award after helping out primary school pupils as a sports leader in athletics.
