Emergency services had to take action after Storm Eunice made a building in a Cotswold town “unsafe”.

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service had a busy weekend, helping tackle the damage caused by Friday’s storm.

On Saturday, the fire service were called to Winchcombe, where a building had been made unsafe as a result of the weather.

A statement from GFRS read: “As the unsettled weather continues into this weekend following Storm Eunice, our crews continue to help their communities deal with the effects of the bad weather.

“We are currently dealing with an unsafe structure in Gloucester Street, Winchcombe. Please avoid the area if possible.”
